Yoruba Youth Mourns Buruji Kashamu, Frowns At Obasanjo’s Letter.

The apex Yoruba Youth group, Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide (YCYW) has condole with the family, friends, associates of Late Senator Buruji Kashamu who succumbed to the cold hands of death after hard fought battle with the novel Covid 19 disease complications.

According to the National President of the global youth body, Aare Barr. Oladotun Hassan “The Council received with shock the news of the death of Senator Buruji Kashamu, while commiserating with his immediate and extended families, friends and associates, we pray to God to grant them fortitude to bear the great loss and equally grant the departed soul eternal rest”.

Senator Buruji Kashamu through his Omo Ilu Foundation contributed immensely to the service of humanity and assisted lots of downtrodden in Ogun State and Nigeria at large including thousand of youths.

The group also frown at the statement credited to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo through a condolence letter written to the Ogun State Government describing it “highly unelderly, a show of unforgiven spirit and unkind to the dead man.”

The statement added that “In as much as his conviction was yet to be pronounced by a court of competent, he should not be convicted in death via ” the Letter.”
