The Oyo state house of assembly has called for speedy completion of Saki Township Stadium.
Member representing Saki West state constituency Hon Okedoyin during Wednesday plenary explained that the stadium has suffered a serious set back due to the attitude of previous administrations in the state.
He said the abadoned project translated to a huge monumental loss for the state economically and socially and that the vision of having another modern and well equipped stadium for Oke axis of the state is becoming elusive.
The lawmaker disclosed that the stadium which belong to the Oyo State government has been encroached by people in the area and that lots of vices are being perpetrated on the land and that it has equally become a hide out for hoodlums.
In his remark, the speaker Oyo State house of assembly Rt Hon Adebo Ogundoyin urged the state commissioner for youth and sports Seun Fakorede to look into the issue affecting the non completion of the stadium.
