Pan Yoruba Summit : Afenifere Commends Oladosu, YPM Over Ibadan Summit

Story By Akinola Emmanuel, January 20, 2021

The acting national leader of Afenifere Egbe Ilosiwaju Yoruba Pa Senator Biyi Durojaiye has commended Barrister Oladosu Oladipo and members of his team in Yoruba Patriots Movement for the wonderful initiative of organising a pan yoruba summit slated for January 21 2021 with the important theme “Yoruba Nation : Yestetday , Today and Tomorrow “.

Speaking through the National Secretary of the organisation, hon Bayo Aina, Senator Durojaiye, who until recently was chairman of the National Communications Commission observed that the theme of the summit is indeed worthy of continuous contemplation as we approach 2023, the outcomes of which will impact Nigeria as a whole but the Yoruba nation more particularly because they constitute a major stakeholder both in Nigeria and in the APC .

For the sake of emphasis, APC is a party in whose successes the yoruba people both at home and in the diaspora are proud to share in.

Senator Durojaiye commended Barrister Oladosu Oladipo for painstakingly consulting across a wide spectrum of opinions and interests including Traditional Rulers, Politicians of different shades of opinion and convictions, captains of industries , as well as youth and gender groups in developing a theme for the summit.

Afenifere Egbe Ilosiwaju Yoruba is convinced that the more we seize opportunities for exchanging ideas in summits of this nature, the greater the possibility of building consensus on several issues and in the process , promote peace unity and stability for the benefit of our people and generations yet unborn.

Afenifere Egbe Ilosiwaju Yoruba looks forward to fruitful deliberations as we all join hand in working towards outcomes that are deliberately inclusive and that will not leave any behind.
