Following the assistance from the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, the Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan is now set for full accreditation of two of its academic programmes including HND Public Health Nursing, Enviromental Health Technology and Institutional Administration.
This was disclosed recently by the Provost of the College, Sanitarian Siji Ganiyu through a statement by its spokesperson Sola Samuel Ojewole.
Sanitarian Ganiyu commended the state government for constant supports for the college since May 29, 2019 when the current government came on board.
The Provost disclosed that the National Board for for Technical Education (NBTE) team is billed to visit the college in February 2021 for full accreditation of some of its academic programmes.
He expressed delight that four academic programme were accredited by the board in 2019 when the administration was three months old.
Sanitarian Ganiyu thanked Governor Makinde for the position and and vision he has has for the college as one of the leading tertiary health institutions in Nigeria.
He added that it is important for the people of Oyo State to support and cooperate with Oyo State government in the implementation of its laudable and welfare programmes.
