The Provost of Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology Eleyele-Ibadan, Sanitarian Siji Ganiyu has advised the newly admitted 582 students for 2021/2022 academic session to always uphold the rules and regulations of the College and contribute their qouta to enhancing the college image
This is contained in a statement issued in Ibadan by the College public Relations Officer Mr Sola Samuel OJEWOLE.
Sanitarian Siji Ganiyu commended Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State for creating an enabling and conducive learning environment as well as the logistic and financial support by his government for the accreditation of various academic programmes run by the College.
He advised the matriculants to face their studies and abstain from frivolities of the of life which could hamper their future career remind them that they were individually be admitted and will graduate as an individual.
Earlier in her opening remarks, the Registrar of Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology Eleyele-Ibadan Mrs Dupe Ayoola Congratuted the newly students imploring them to always obey the rules and regulations of the College for better academic performances.
The students were later admitted to taking oath by the Provost of the College, Sanitarian Siji Ganiyu while matriculation register was signed by students to authenticate their studentship at which it was celebration and jubilation galore.
Some of the students expressed delight over their admission promising to assiduously work for excellent academic result as well as upholding the code of conduct within and outside the College premises.
The matriculation ceremony was attended by principal officers of the College, Staff and parents.
Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology Eleyele-Ibadan was established in 1933 with the mandate of training middle level health care providers and it had produced several health personnel for both public and private health sector within and outside Nigeria since inception till date.
