The previously sacked elected chairmen Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON)Oyo state led by Prince Abass Aleshiloye have alleviate the fear or any anxiety of National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE),Oyo state and all local government workers and the people of the Peace Setter State.
As the democratically elected chairmen and councillors of the local government and council areas have planned to return peacefully to their duty posts to perform their constitutional duties.
It was recall that the Attorney General of the Federation , Mr Abubakar Mallami, has previously call on the attention of the Oyo state Government and the Inspector General of Police to the subsisting supreme court judgement reinforcing section 7(1) of the 1999 constitution and unconstitutional the dissolu6of the elected local council administration by state governors.
ALGON Oyo state has taken the paths of law to reclaim their mandate also reassuring the people of Oyo state that there is no cause for alarm as the police command as directed by the inspector General of Police and all other security agencies have assured them the safety if life and property and are fully on ground.
The ALGON Oyo state have reiterate their willingness to work with the State Governor EngrSeyi Makinde of their collaboration in providing good governance for the state.
In a release signed by the ALGON chairman Prince Abass Aleshinloye state that they have no personal or partisan grudge against him nor his government and promise to work together to make Oyo State greater for the benefit of all.
