The Oyo State government has approved the re-opening of all institutions in the state for commencement of regular academic activities from September 28.
The approval, which was conveyed on Tuesday by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Barr Olasunkanmi Olaleye, disclosed that Managements and academic board of Tertiary institutions in the state should specifically fix their resumption date from September 28 and that all possible measures to combat COVID-19 are to put in place ahead of their resumption.
Also, the announced date for the commencement of 2020/21 academic session for primary and secondary schools is still intact with new protocols which includes:
1. Using of laboratories and halls for classroom.
2. Class shifting for students.
3. Restricting students from sharing items and other precautions.
