Oyo NSCDC Trains Over 350 Personnel On Security/Law Enforcement And The Community.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Oyo State Command Commences a 2day training for officers and men of the Corps on Monday at the Area A Command of the Corps at Railway quarters, Iyaganku Ibadan.

While declaring the exercise open, the state commandant, Michael Adaralewa said It is necessary to train and retrain all officers and
men of the Corps, especially with the rate of insecurity in the Country.

Commandant Adaralewa emphasised on the need for every officers and men of NSCDC to be ready at all time for the challenges facing the Nation on Security.

Meanwhile, during the course of the two days training in which over three hundred and fifty officers and men of the corps participated, the officers were trained on many areas of Security operations that includes, Hostile Environment Protection, Executive close protection, VIP protection, Customer care, Executive self Defence training, Crowd control Management, Defensive driving, Security surveillance, Security journey management and Security strategic just to mention few out of the number of courses offered in the training.

Officers were drawn from different departments including Crisis Management Department, Agro Ranger Unit, Counter Terrorism Unit, Anti-Vandal, Disaster Management Unit, the female special squad.

Adaralewa enjoined all officers and men of the Corps who participated in the 2days training to exhibit the knowledge impacted in them through the aspects of training they undergo.
