The Oyo State commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Mr Akintayo Adaralewa has called for joint effort among relevant stakeholders in the state to ensure effective security of lives and properties.
Mr Adaralewa stated this during his working visit to the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA),ibadan. and the Nigeria Custom Service in continuation of his visit to security agencies and stakeholders in the state.
He stated there is a need for good relationship among the stakeholders which will help in sharing of intelligence and joint operations.
The Area Controller, NCS Adamu Abdulkadir appreciated the Oyo State Commandant of NSCDC for the role his men play whenever there is crisis in the state especially in the area of protection of Critical national asset and protection of other security formations.
The Commandant also paid visit to Garrison Commander, 2 Division, Nigerian Army, Odogbo, Ibadan, Brigadier General SJA Ilori in his office.
Adaralewa at Odogbo stressed the need for collaboration which must not be negotiated.
He expressed his readiness and willingness to collaborate with the Nigeria Army especially in operation Burst.
On his part, Brigadier General Ilori assured of his unflinching support and more support.
Also at NTA Ibadan network center, he solicited for more publicity and information from the station in order to be more proactive.
