The Oyo state command of Nigeria security and civil Defence corps (NSCDC) has arrested two(2) suspects at Sunshine High school, leaf road, NTC Ibadan during the 2020 ongoing joint admission examination at the school centre in Ibadan.
While parading the suspects at the command state Headquarters Agodi Ibadan on Wednesday, the State Commandant of the corps CC Iskilu Akinsanya revealed that Omotola Olayinka (M) 20 years, was the candidate that registered for the examination but after finishing the accreditation and at the commencement of the examination stepped out of the examination hall to invite Karmar Segun 18 years to write the examination for him which is impersonation.
“This is where the problem we are facing in the country started, examination malpractices”. A situation Where someone that did not registered for an examination is sitting for a registered candidate is unlawful, and against the law of joint admission matriculation board and Nigeria as a nation.”
The commandant added that the two suspects involved in the examination malpractices will be charge to court after the completion of the investigation to the case.
He used the medium to appeal to parent and guidance in the state to monitor their children in order not to involve in examination malractices and impersonation as it is against the law of Nigeria.
