The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence corps (NSCDC) has deployed CC Adaralewa Michael Akintayo as the new commandant of Oyo State command.

This was stated in a statement made available to Nigerianalert News on Wednesday by the media officer of the command, CSC Oluwole Olusegun.

The new commandant CC Adaralewa Michael Akintayo on arrival was received by his predecessor in office, Commandant Iskilu Abiodun Akinsanya who has been redeployed to Delta state command as their new commandant after active and memorable one year and ten months in oyo state.

Commandant Akinsanya thank the government and good people of oyo state for the support given to him during his stay and appeal to them to stretch same hand of love to his successor.

In his first briefing with officers and men of Oyo state command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), commandant Adaralewa Michael made it known to officers and men that his deployment to Oyo state command is necessary to compliment the good work done so far by the former commandant who had been redeployed to Delta state.

Meanwhile, after his inspection to various Heads of units,he enjoined officers to be disciplined and dedicated to duty especially in their commitment towards riding the State of all forms of criminality in order to return peace and tranquillity.

Commandant Adaralewa warn all criminal element in Oyo State to vacate, he appeal to the stakeholders in the state for their support to enable him succeed like his predecessor.

Before his redeployment to Oyo Command,Commandant Adaralewa Michael was the Command incharge of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN)Department at the National Headquarters. He is an educator in CBRNE Emergency Response, detection and response, providing training and motivation for front line officers. An FBI-trained Post Blast investigator.

Commandant Adaralewa Michael hail from Ekiti State.
