The Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC), Oyo State Command, Commandant Adaralewa Michael Akintayo has charged new recruits to imbibe the Corps’ tenet of integrity and humility in service delivery as they go through the first phase of their training programme.
Commandant Adaralewa gave this charge on Friday while addressing the new recruits on the parade, at the State Command Headquarters, Agodi, Ibadan.
The training exercise commenced on 4th of April 2022 for the 2019 intakes of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and is the first phase of the scheduled training programme lined up by the Corps for the new recruits.
He encouraged them to not only pass through the training but allow the training to pass through them as this will be useful for them in the discharge of their duties as Security personnel.
Commandant Adaralewa also commended the effort of the Commandant General(CG) of the Corps, CG Ahmed Abubarka Audi for the timely recruitment of personnel into the Corps to quell the incessant nefarious security challenges like Boko haram, Kidnapping, Banditry, Rape and all sort of Criminal activities facing the country.
Commandant Adaralewa Michael prayed and wished the newly recruits a fruitful training session.
