The Oyo state Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) CC Iskilu Akinsanya has commended the officers and men of the Command across the state for being professional in discharging their duties during this partial lockdown and curfew in Oyo state.
Commandant Akinsanya disclose this on Friday at the Command state Headquarters Agodi Ibadan during net meeting with all his staff across the State while delivering Commandant General Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu message on the need to be civil in their approach in dealing with Civil populace while on COVID 19 lockdown enforcement duty.
The State Commandant also appreciate all the Security agencies who work with his men for their timely response to distress calls in the State.
Commandant Adesanya gave out more Face Mask, glove, and sanitizers to all his men for the task ahead and encourage them not to relent in their efforts to make Oyo State Crime free. “If nobody recognize your efforts, I know God see what you are doing and will rewards you as one of the people on essential duty that protect the people against COVID 19 and Crimes,” he said.
He admonished the officers not to brutalize any Nigerians, be polite and professional in handling things in the State.
Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya used the medium to greet Muslims in the State for the commencement of this year Ramadan fasting, and enjoined them to put in mind all the preventive measures stated by the Government like social distance, covering of Nose, washing of hand with soap and water, and use of sanitizers. He stated further that when you don’t have anything to do outside stay indoor as this is the best way to remain safe.
Meanwhile, the state Commandant enjoin the security personnel on duty to continue with the collaboration that has been in existence with the media men in state so that we can both live in peace as the journalist are also part of the people on essential duty mentioned by the government who need adequate protection and support of the security operatives when carrying out their assignments.
