NMA Hosts African Medical Association Confab | Leadership Newspaper

The Oyo State chapter of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) on Saturday elected new executive members to run the affairs of the association.

In his message at the election, the outgoing Chairman NMA Oyo state Dr Akin Sodipo said the state government had approved 100% adjusted CONMESS for doctors working with the Oyo State hospital management board and LAUTECH, Ogbomoso.

He said the Association has also donated Personal Protected Equipment (PPE) to Oyo State government, UCH, LAUTECH, Adeoyo hospital, Jericho specialist hospital, Oni Memorial children hospital, Catholic hospital, Oluyoro and Private hospitals during the pandemic.

In his response, the new chairman, Dr A.J Fasunla promised to run a shared vision administration where team members will feel involved, encourage them to dream and support them to actualize their vision.

He promised to provide the enabling environment and build noble association. Dr Fatunla commended the outgoing Chairman, Dr Akin Sodipo and the entire past exco for providing guidance and support for the successful electioneering process.

The election exercise was well attended under the supervision of Dr Muideen Olatunji.
