The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has assured the officers of The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp of more support as they discharge their role in all The nooks and crannies of the state.
Governor Makinde gave this assurance while receiving Commandant Michael Adaralewa who was recently posted to the state in his Agodi, Ibadan office.
Governor Makinde commended NSCDC officers and men who are always ready to protect the people of the state come rain or shine.
“What you are doing, I see for myself all you are doing in my state and we as government’s, we will not relent in giving our maximum support and assistance to make your work effective.”
Responding, the Oyo State Commandant of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Adaralewa Michael reiterate, his readiness to work with the state government especially on the governor agenda to rid the State of criminal element with the cooperation of the members of the public.
Commandant Adaralewa used the visit to inform the Governor of the female armed squard undergoing rigorous training in line with the Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi directives on safe school initiative (SSI), for the protection of educational institutions in the state.
He also reassured of the Corps commitment to the safety of lives and property of the citizens as well as the protection of Critical National Asset and Infrastructure of Government.
He emphasized and appreciate on the support given by the state government to the Agro-Rangers unit of the Command.
