Oyo Discharges Two COVID 19 Patients  …One COVID 19 Patient On His Way To Sokoto

Two confirmed COVID-19 patients were discharged from the Infectious Disease Centre (IDC), Olodo after receiving their second negative test results.

The Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde disclosed this on his verified Twitter Handle on Wednesday Night.

Governor Makinde said this brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to thirteen.

The Governor who also give an update on the absconded cases reported earlier on Wednesday said the two patients were
absconded before being admitted to any of the state isolation centres.

Makinde said after intensive contact tracing, one of them has been found and admitted to the IDC, Olodo.

He added that the other is a 10-year-old boy who eye witnesses claim boarded a north-bound vehicle and that his details have been sent to the Sokoto State PHEOC. Contact tracing is still ongoing.
