Oyo 2023 Guber Hopeful, Adeduntan Backs APC Ban On Factional Groups

The Osi Bashorun of Ibadanland and 2023 governorship hopeful in Oyo state, Chief Dr Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has thrown his weight behind the decision of the Adebayo-Akala led Elders council of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Oyo State to ban all factional groups within the party in the state.

The decision according to Chief Dr Adeduntan in a statement issued by his media aide Lekan Shobowale is a welcome development and efforts aimed at uniting various interest within the Oyo APC folds and better reposition the party for future elections.

The internationally recognized Cardio Vascular Surgeon also praised leaders of the party for their decisions to allow democracy in all Oyo APC political activities and also to work together as a family.

The founder, Dr Azeez Popoola Adeduntan Foundation (DAPAF) said it is important for stakeholders in Oyo APC to come together and build a virile and strong party.

Chief Dr Adeduntan who few months ago completed an ultra modern cardio vascular and diagnostic centre in Ibadan calls on the people in the state to troop out and participate in the soon to commence APC membership registration and revalidation exercise in order for better electoral victory come 2023.

“On behalf of myself and my teeming supporters, I want to assure our leaders in Oyo APC of my unrelented support and commitment to the rebuliding process of our party to the benefit of all.”
