Nigeria Voters Assembly Mourn Odumakin, Chukwuma

Story By Akinola Emmanuel, April 6, 2021

Comrade Mashood Erubami, President of the  Nigeria Voters Assembly has commiserated with Global Social Democratic, Human Rights Activists, the wives  and Children left behind, on the deaths of Comrades Yinka Odumakin and Innocent Chukwuma.

Comrade Erubami described the Social Democratic Activists as Group motivators and enrichers of Civil Society and Development sectors ‘Who is Who’ around the Globe who cannot be easily replaced in their known areas of specialities.

“Though, Death is the last debt that every human will pay but the good deeds that our  Comrades were noted for will live as their legacies for which they will continue to live in our consciences even if we would not see them  physically.”

Comrade Erubami said the deceased are friendly Comrades in the struggles for social justice and democratic development.

“Yinka, husband to my Secretary  Joe Okei, when I was the National President of the Campaign for Democracy (CD), Innocent handed over to me as the Chairman of the renowned Transition Monitoring Group ( TMG) in 2007,  their deaths remain devastating and sorrowful to us in the Human Rights Community.

We commiserate and pray with the Comrades left behind particularly their wives and Children that God grants the families strong heart to bear the irreparable losses.

We feel so sorry for these families for their  losses and calling on God to uphold their households  and provide His dependable shoulder for them  to lean on.”
