Nigeria @ 60: Adeduntan Calls For More Patriotism And Commitment

The Osi Bashorun Of Ibadanland -Chief Dr Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has congratulated Nigerians on the celebration of 60 years independence , describing them as true heroes of democracy.

Chief Dr Adeduntan stated this while felicitating with Nigerians and in particular the people of Oyo State on the independence anniversary in a release through his media office in Ibadan.

Adeduntan said, he believed that Nigerians would witness a higher level of development and prosperity in the coming years and specially congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osibajo members of the political class and all Nigerians on the joyous occasion.

Adeduntan who was a cleared and vetted GOVERNORSHIP aspirant on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) during the 2019 governorship election congratulated Nigerians on the 60 years of attaining independence.

He said the feat was achieved by sheer determination of the Nigerian people to make their coming together work, and make necessary sacrifices in spite of
inherent challenges being faced by Nigerians.

Adeduntan who is also the founder of Dr Azeez Popoola Adeduntan Foundation (DAPAF) and President RILGA LLC, a professional corporation in the USA & Nigeria commended the nation’s growth since her independence in the last 60 years and urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in the pursuit of peace and unity in order to achieve the lofty goals set for successive generations by the founding fathers.

“I Congratulate Nigerians for sticking to the path of peaceful and united co-
existence in the face of divisive challenges, and I am calling on all to strive for a greater nation in which every Nigerian will be a proud citizen.” the statement added.
