More Troubles For Oyo Governor, Makinde As PDP Probes Ondo Election

The People’s Democratic Party PDP, leadership in the southwest states have constitutes a five-man committee to look into the abysmal performances of his flagbearer at the the recently held gubernatorial election, Mr Eyitayo Jegede.

The committee is to assess and identify factors responsible for this unprecedented woeful performance in Ondo state and submit its report within a four weeks.

“That we note sadly the the abysmally woeful performance of the party in the last gubernatorial election in Ondo State.

“We declare that it is disappointing that we lost the election so colosally in a state with two senators and three house of reps member seats in 2019”

The party also want the panel to examine all issues relating to election planing, management and prosecution, identify all lapses and make useful recommendations to prevent such shoddy performance shoddy performance in the future.

“We also note that a group,of people are beginning to introduce intra party violence within the zone”.

“This ugly development which possess the capability to destroy amity, unity and comradeship within the party must be checked at once”.

The party called on the National working committee to take stringent actions identified sponsors of such actions.

The committe is to be chair by Chief Bola Olu Ojo with other members which include Mike Ogunlade, Dr Lere Oyeyunmi, Femi Carena and Mujidat Balogun.

It would be recalled that the Ondo Election committe was led by the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde in October among other memebers.
