A close associate of the business mogul and winner of June 12 1993 Presidential election Late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, Alhaji Sufianu Kazeem has disagreed with those calling for the sack of service chiefs in the nation.
Alhaji Kazeem while featuring on a radio programme in Ibadan and monitored by Nigeria Alert on Saturday said removal of the nation’s service chiefs can never be a lasting solution to the insecurities that has pervaded the nation in the last few years.
The Ibadan based business man explained there is a need for the current class of service chiefs to re-examine the strategies being used in fighting the battle as terrorism has now turned to a global issue.
He commended the south west governors over the recently launched Operation Amotekun as this will go a long way in tackling security lapses across the state’s in the south west.
Alhaji Kazeem believes every Yoruba sons and daughters must support the initiatives irrespective of religion, tribes or political affiliations.
