International Women’s Day: Oyo 2023 Governorship Hopeful Assures Women In Oyo Of Better Deal

The Osi Bashorun Of Ibadanland, Chief Dr Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has congratulated womenfolk in Oyo State on the occasion of the International Women’s Day.

Chief Dr. Adeduntan pays tribute to them for the invaluable roles they play in building homes, society and by extension, the nation, just as he extolled their great virtues for many of their lofty contributions in both the public and private sectors in the state and the nation.

In a release by his media office in Ibadan, the President, Adeduntan
CardioVascular and Diagnostic centre Ibadan (ACDC) said, “the 2021 international women’s day has again brought out in bold relief the crucial role women play in our lives as a people.”

“They have stood up to be counted as wives,mother’s, mobilizers, and voters. Indeed, what can we ever do without our women in all phases of our lives,” Women remain important members of our lives and greatly contribute to the social and economic growth of our nation.

The President, Dr Azeez Popoola Adeduntan Foundation (DAPAF) described many positions being held by women as evidence of their hard work, loyalty and determination to succeed in their undertakings.

“On a special day like this, I Chief Dr. Azeez Popoola Adeduntan, on behalf of my teeming supporters in Oyo state assure you of my unflinching support and commitment to women empowerment and appreciate all women in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole. “I wish you all -the very best of celebration.”

International Women’s Day is designed to celebrate the potential, progress, and accomplishments of women, and to highlight the utmost importance of creating a world that presents equal opportunities for women and men.
