An Educationist and lecturer at the University of Lagos, Dr Moruff Oladejo recently as part of his Golden jubilee celebration donated gifts to selected schools and institutions in Ibadan.
The celebrant who turns 50 on March 21, 2021 commenced the celebration on the 17th of March 2021, with a donation to at the University of Lagos, (UNILAG), and Modupe Cole, Lagos continued the celebration with a visit to St Mary Catholic Primary School, Oke Ofa Ibadan, and the University of Ibadan.
Dr Oladejo was accompany by his family, relatives, friends and well wishers to some to the places visited.
The celebrant and his entourage was well received at all places visited with special songs and cultural display.
Speaking at St Mary Catholic Primary School, Dr Oladejo said the well project provided for the school was in response to their request.
He urged the pupils to strive for excellence and never give up on their dreams of becoming great in life.
“Don’t belittle yourself and don’t think you can’t make it, in as much as am here you can also be there”
At Omoyeni Special School, Orita Aperin, Ibadan the celebrant had a fun filled time with them as they sang dance, and played with them not minding their disabilities. He also donated to the school.
Dr Oladeji also presented textbooks to the students of Wesley College.
At the Renascent Secondary school, Agugu, Ibadan, the celebrant also preaches message of hope as he called on them to be good ambassadors of their school on future.
As part of the celebration, a test was also conducted for students and three outstanding students were given 20,000# for their forthcoming National Examination Council (NECO).
Dr Oladejo was also at faculty of education, University of Ibadan where he was received by the Dean, Prof F.A Faloyin and other members of the faculty.
The Dean, Professor Faloyin commended the Celebrant being a Pride to the faculty and by extension the Premier University.
