A Presidential Aspirant during the 1992 Jos Convention of the defunct Social Democratic Party (SDP) Chief Oladosu Oladipo has commended governors from the southern region of Nigeria over their support for the region to produce Nigeria President come 2023.

Chief Oladipo who is currently the National Coordinator, Yoruba Patriots Movement (YPM) and also Next Level Consolidation Forum (NLCF) gave this commendation in a release issued in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The Elder statesman eulogised the exceptional courage of the governors to took such decisions and call for support of all Nigerians to ensure the implementation of the call made by the governor.

Chief Oladipo stated that there can not be progress and commitment when there is no equity, fairness and justice.

He said it is important for APC as a national party to honour the Pre-2015 agreement that the presidency of Nigeria would be rotated between Southern and Northern Nigeria and that the next president of Nigeria must emerge from the Southern Region come 2023.

Chief Oladipo added that for even distribution of national wealth and growth of all regions, Presidency must return back to the South.

He urged the Governors and all political players and stakeholders in the Southern region of Nigeria to support the Presidency project of the Southern region and close all necessary ranks and holes among the people.

He also express his support for the promulgation of the anti open grazing law in all states of the southern region.
