The factional group within the South West People’s Democratic Party (PDP) led by former Ekiti governor, Ayo Fayose and its chairmanship candidate for the recently held election Eddy Olafeso has threatened to form parallel Zonal executive if the newly elected Zonal chairman Taofeek Arapaja fails to reconcile the warring faction.
Fayose made this disclosure while answering questions on a television programme recently on issues that arose from the Zonal congress.
Former Ekiti governor stated that he put a call through to the new Chairman congratulating him on his victory even though the said election was manipulated to favour Makinde.
He added that he is ready to do anything reasonable to ensure that the party continue to grow in the south west only if Arapaja will be chairman for all and not just for few.
