The Ogun State Solidarity Movement (OSM) has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to live to his role as the father of the nation and address the ongoing protests sweeping across the nation before it degenerate into a full fledge crisis that FG May not be able to control again.
Ogun Solidarity Movement (OSM ) in a release signed by his President Lekan Shobo Shobowale and made available to journalists in Abeokuta, the state capital through its spokesperson Damilola Adekanlu.
The group commends the protesters which are largely youth for rising up to stand for the nation when it matters most and be the voice for the voiceless in Nigeria.
The statement then called on President Buhari to come out of his comfort zone and address the whole demands of the youths in order to take the protesters out of the street.
He said government must as a matter of urgency heed the call of the populace to restructure the police systems and the entire security architecture of the nation.
OSM while commenting on the increase in the pump price said the step shows insensitivity of the government to the plight of Nigerians especially such at the post covid period when people are just coming out of the deadly pandemic.
He added that it is important for the leadership of the nation to listen to the voice of its people and do that which is needful.
