CULTURAL DAY: Proprietor of Reliance Diplomat School Mr. Oke advised pupils not to forget their Roots

It was an amazing experience as the pupils of Reliance Diplomat School, Ijokodo, Ibadan celebrated their cultural day.

Speaking at the event, the proprietor of the reputable school Mr. Bamidele Oke praised the pupils for performing excellently and encourage them on the importance of culture.

He noted that in accordance with the Oyo state schools curriculum, it is vital to know that culture bring back the memories of where we came from.

Also Speaking at the event was a member of the school’s boards of directors who doubled as the mother of the proprietor Mrs. Kehinde Sodepo, in her statement, she stated that the school cultural day came at the right time when our future leaders need to know the importance of culture in nation building.

Delighted by the performance of the children, she urged parents to put more effort in mentoring and monitoring their wards against immoral dressings.

In her own statement, the Head Mistress Mrs. Roselyn said the cultural day has become part of the school’s calendar as it is an avenue to entertain and educate their wards.

“I want to appreciate all parents for taking time to input in the pupil good behaviour and attitude, and with this performance , Nigeria future is bright” She concluded.

The cultural day ended on a good note as the children and all invited guests went home refreshed, entertained and further educated about the need to always remember their cultural heritage and be proud of their Roots.
