The main opposition party in Nigeria, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed disappointment over inability of President Muhammadu Buhari to offer post lockdown stimulus to assist Nigerians.
The party stated this on its official Twitter handle in reaction to President Muhammadu Buhari Monday night broadcast.
The party stated that it is expected of the federal government to assist Nigerians in the private sector whose businesses has been crippled by the lockdown and are now faced with the burden of workers salaries and business refinancing.
PDP also lamented that apart from the elementary lockdown and failed palliative showboating , President B uhari did not offer a decisive solution regarding the production of drugs, testing kits among other important issues.
It added that reading from the President, he has again failed to offer decisive solutions to Nigerians from the deadly pandemic.
