COVID 19: Oyo Commences Decontamination Of Ison’s Office  ..cases now 72

The Oyo State government through the Environmental Health Officers Association Of Nigeria has begin decontamination of the premises of Ison’s experience in Ibadan.

Some workers at iSON’s Ibadan centre were few days ago tested positive for Coronavirus while others with suspected risk have been placed in isolation under
the supervision of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The Environmental Health Officers Association Of Nigeria Oyo state chapter as part of its professional responsibility in collaboration with the sub committee under IPC unit of COVID 19 has kicked off the decontamination and fumigation of ison office ibadan .

In his comment during the exercise ,Sanitarian Abiodun Tijani who is the president of Environmental health officers in the state said all necessary areas in the company would be decontaminated as a way of containing the spread of the novel Coronavirus.

He said the decontamination was one of the steps to control and contain the spread of COVID-19 in the area and State as a whole.

Also, a member of the state task force on COVID 19 Mr Siji Ganiyu said the exercise was one of the measures taken to contain COVID-19 in Oyo State.

The decontamination according to the duo will protect the citizenry from spreading the Coronavirus in the State
