The Spiritual Head  of Shafaudeen In Islam worldwide professor Sabit Olagoke has faulted the decision of Nigerian political leaders to shut down religious centres over the outbrake of the coronavirus pandemic

Professor Olagoke  said  the outbreak of the virus is  wrath and anger of God  which requires absolute supplication to seek  God’s forgiveness  on humans across the world.

The  spiritual leader made the  submission at the Shafaudeen Headquarter wakajaye, Ibadan  during an interview with newsmen  at the wake of the development ravaging the human race.
He said lack of adequate preparation and  under funding have always being the problem of our government at times like in the country.

“Shutting down religious centres is not really the solution,  government should device good measures and  approach to address the development .

Government ought to seek religious leaders intervention to make supplication to God while other necessary steps are also observed.

According to him, the nation at this time need  spiritual intervention and very good strategy  to overcome the pandemic.

Professor Sabit noted that  Nigerian government are shying away from their responsibilities, instead of putting God first no matter what is happen on the surface of the earth.
He said the stay at home order by  government may not be the solution to the  issue on ground, just as he admonished the nation leadership to seek other measures to address the matter.
The spiritual leader then  urged  religious leaders  to preach the  scripture and the fear of God which will help people to move closer to God.
