The founder, Christ Apostolic Church, Reformation land Ibadan Prophet Timothy Abass Arabambi has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to introduce electronic voting in order to reduce violence that usually trails election in Nigeria.
Prophet Arabambi made this call while speaking with Nigeria Alert News on the church annual end of the year crusade tagged ” GREAT REFORMATION 2019.”
Prophet Arabambi explained that by introducing electronic voting into the Nigerian polity, Nigeria would also had joined the rest of the developed world who now used electronic voting to elect their leaders.
The cleric emphasised on the need for electorates to desists from selling their votes to politicians and cast their votes according to their conscience and vote for credible politicians who can add value to their lives.
Prophet Arabambi stated that the essence of Christmas is love as exemplified by the circumstances and birth of Jesus Christ.
He admonished Christians to reflect on the love of God which necessitated the sending of his only son to the world to die for the sins and bring the people back to him and also extend same to those around them.
While speaking on the Great Reformation 2019 crusade, Prophet Arabambi said the programme is part of the end of the year anniversary of the church.
The crusade with the theme ” The Holy Ghost Shall Come Upon Thee” is expected to begin on Monday and end with special thanksgiving service on Sunday 15th December, 2019, all at the church premises C. A. C Reformation land, Ibadan District Coordinating Council, 19 Olunloyo Akanran Road, Ibadan.
