The much anticipated election of the Nigeria Union Of Journalists Oyo State council scheduled for Wednesday 18th December has been allegedly postponed.
This was announced through a release signed by the chairman of Credential committee Semiu Azeez and four other members of the committee.
The postponement according to the committee is due to an alleged court injunction received by the committee.
Meanwhile, members of the union have rejected the postponement describing it as one of the many antics of the incumbent towards ensuring his forceful second term return.
Also, according to a reliable source, members of the national executive council saddled with tthe election are reported to be on their way to Ibadan to conduct the already scheduled Wednesday election.
