Bimbo Kolade Mourns Late Oyo APC Leader, Akin Ojebode, Says He’s A Core Progressives

A Federal Commissioner at the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Abuja ( RMFAC) representing Oyo state , Hon Bimbo Kolade has commiserate with the family of the late All Progressive Congress (APC) leader in the state, Pa Akin Ojebode who died on Saturday.

In a statement by his media office, Hon Kolade condoled with the family, the Chairman of APC in Oyo state, Chief Akin Oke and all members of the party in the State.

Kolade said Pa Ojebode’s wise counsel, borne out of humility, deep reflection,
diligent studies and experience would be sorely missed by the party at different levels.

He noted that the late leader was a politician who was consistent with the progressive ideology as demonstrated in his membership of Alliance for Democracy, Action Congress, Action Congress of Nigerian and lately the APC.

Hon Kolade described the late progressive leader in the state as a man of peace, who played politics without bitterness.

He urged the family to uphold their late father’s principles of peace, unity,progress, and fair play.

“He displayed a high sense of humanity. He placed human value against political and material consideration. He was among those, who made it possible for us to play politics without rancor and acrimony.

“We mourn him today not just, because he was a party leader, but because he
was a uniting factor in many things. He believed so much in the community and communal services.

“He preached peace. However, the supreme authority has taken a decision, but
we urged you his family to uphold those ideals he lived for. Those ideals were;
peace, unity, progress, and fair play. He had principles built on fairness and
