The chairman Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Oyo State Chapter Prince Abass Aleshinloye who has previously demonstrated willingness in the interest of the good people of Oyo State to settle out of court which the present administration said a capital NO to.
And never will I re-elect as the Local Government Chairman again after my tenure is over
ALGON chairman who also said ” I am expecting nothing but victory from the court judgement ” even though the government is trying to waste our time by not readying to settle out of court.
He said if the court favours them all praise to God and if other wise all praise still for ever belong to God.
This was convey in an interview with a Nigerian Alert news reporter Adedeji fatimah at the ALGON office on Thursday.
In furtherance to that he made a reference to the supreme court which is now a law that says ” government or house of assembly has been barred and bold from dissolving the Democratically Elected Committee if the need be it should be in court “.
The government has denied the good people of Oyo state the access to good governance .
Adding that the democratically elected chairmen are still in office even though they are illegally disallow to operate.
ALGON sympathise with the family of the man who died in oshogbo during the struggles, it is not all about the office but the rule of law .
I really sympathise with the people at the grassroots level because they are the receiving ends of the bad government power are not in shape.
Prince Abass said ” it is not over until it is over “.
