The Osi Bashorun Of Ibadanland -Chief Dr. Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has rejoiced with a former GOVERNOR of Oyo State,-Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala on his 70th birthday today Wednesday June 3rd 2020.

The Founder, Dr Azeez Popoola Adeduntan Foundation’s (DAPAF) congratulatory message was conveyed in a starement released by his Media office in Ibadan.

He particularly congratulated Akala ”for his many years of outstanding achievements in the service of the pace setter state which has endeared him so much to the heart of many residents of the state and leaving behind a legacy of excellence wherever he had been at the helm of affairs, both in the Nigeria Police force and as Oyo state Governor.


“I admire Otunba ALAO AKALA for his pragmatism In politics,his native intelligence, his ability not to be taken as a fool easily,his ability to always have an entry and exit strategy in any political party he joins without packing all his eggs in one basket,since Nigeria politics presently is not issue and idea based ,but for food”.

Chief Dr. Adeduntan who also vied for the 2019 Governorship ticket with former Governor Adebayo Alao Akala under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) eulogised Akala’s forthrightness, patriotism and passion in working for the good of the state, country and humanity which will continue to stand him out as a resourceful manager, exemplary leader and patriot.

Osi Bashorun Adeduntan who is also the President, RILGA LLC, a professional corporation in the United States of America and Nigeria urged Otunba Akala to remain steadfast in love and loyalty to Nigeria and Oyo state and use his wealth of knowledge, wisdom and experience to contribute more to the development of the state especially through mentoring of young leaders.

“On behalf of my family and supporters , I hereby join the family, friends and associates of the former GOVERNOR ,in celebrating this important milestone and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
