The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination which started on Saturday, 14th March, 2020 is an annual examination written by candidates who want to further their education into various institutions of their choice within the country has over the years had records of successful, peaceful and strategic examination processes.
According to reports gathered, 2020 registration for the examination since inception is one of the years of less stressful one as candidates registered at accredited computer based test vntres, and printed their examination slips with ease.
Also, as planned by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, candidates in their examination slips are given different centres to their computer based test which has since Saturday had less records of network disruption and computer failure.
In a chat with some candidates at Atanda CBT Centre, Oluyole Estate, the computers were easy to operate and the environment is conducive for an external examinations like UTME. They also appraised the level of organization of the board, stating that the personnels in charge of organizing were strict but friendly.
Feranmi Badmus while speaking with our correspondent mentioned that his examination was for 9am but because there was thumb printing which led to the delay as well to also wait for other candidates to arrive, he commenced at about a few minutes past 12pm. He also commended the efforts of the board.
In a chat with Nigeria Alert, some parents stated that there were no records of disorganization or stress as candidates came at the time given to them, and then went in to do their examination without computer disruption.
