2019: Adeduntan Resigns as Oyo Health Commissioner

Governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has resigned from his position as Commissioner of Health in Oyo State.

Dr. Adeduntan’s resignation follows his decision to contest the forthcoming governorship primary of the APC in the Pacesetter State.

A statement from his media office said Dr. Adeduntan, having served meritoriously in his capacity as commissioner of health, resigned voluntarily to pursue his gubernatorial ambition with all the seriousness it deserves.

Governor Abiola Ajimobi had directed all political appointees, who are aspirants for various political positions to resign from their current offices

Recall that the governorship aspirant had recently obtained his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to contest in the coming APC primary.
